Spring of Life - The Unwounded Few

With the summer heat yielding its strength to the spirits of fire, rumblings of great discontent can be heard amongst the water spirits of House Dannan. Through the breach in the seal above the British Isles, an immense power has been felt passing into our world. Scattered whisperings speak the words of ‘Spring of Lenus’, an ancient and powerful water spirit said to appear during times of great imbalance.

The ‘Spring of Life’ campaign will begin Monday, August 8 at approximately 11:00 AM PDT and will run for one full week. Individual rewards will be provided to top contributors at the end of each round and total energy gains can be tracked on the leader board.

During the campaign, ‘Lenus’, a new rare water spirit can be found roaming the world. Capturing this powerful new water spirit will result in huge energy gains and will not be easy, requiring the help of friends and teammates. The healing presence of ‘Spring of Lenus’ has also resulted in a significant mana cost reduction to the Aria of Light spell for all mages.

Shortly after the campaign, we will be randomly rewarding 10 mages amongst all who manage to get the final blow on Lenus with a stack of Academy Stickers. If you would like to discuss the weekly campaigns, visit our Campaign forum!

I like the Lenus a lot! It was a nice, creative touch to adjust the regen rate instead of just giving it insane HP =D

There's no forum post for this campaign yet, so I'll post here. I haven't noticed any reduction in Aria of Light cost. It was 297 for me before this campaign, and 297 now, even with an Spring of Lenus in view. There is a definite HP boost, but no promised mana cost reduction. Other levels have reported mana costs that are only 4-8 mp below what they were before the campaign. Otherwise, I love the new spirits! Are Bonfires gone for the season?

I love the new Lenus spirits. Just that touch less health than a Bonfire makes all the difference even to those of us who deal 450 a hit, and makes it much easier to take out solo.

I'm very much enjoying the addition of the Spring of Lenus Spirit. I hope to see more of these types of unique Spirits roaming about the world! My concerns are that while I like the fact that it can be soloed (and love the 150 energy reward,) it makes cases of "kill-stealing" all the more frustrating when you burn through numerous Mana Potions only for someone else to get the final hit and thus all the reward. I understand that this energy pools into our team's total, but when you're striving to climb to the top of the leaderboard and this happens... let's just say I'm not a happy camper. Food for thought.

Ditto, JxRK. My husband and I teamed up to take out Lenus, and both used up mana, but only he got the energy bonus. Good thing I'm fond of him.

One thing the Lenus showed me is that it'd be nice if you clicked on a the little question mark when you select a mage, if you could give that mage one of your potions. The only Lenus I was able to dispatch without someone's assistance was one whose mana was depleted by another mage trying to take it out. All the others were with people healing me while I attacked. It's be nice to thank the healers with a mana potion.
