I wasn't around to see the knot icon, but it's so much better than the current one, I agree. It's so simple and elegant, catches your eye. Mage girl is fine, but generic, and doesn't work at such a small size.

Definitely should go back to the knot or a similar design. I never got to see what that looked like as an app icon but I think it would embody the game better.
