Ok, with that setup the problem would become multiple accounts that some players would create.

Mmmm, actually I don't see why they would they want to do that. It gives them no advantages. Anyway, there are already people setting up accounts on both factions, and I think the devs should come to a decision soon about that.

Well if the points for a side are counted from gateways held you can just setup dummy accounts to conquer some remote places, that would likely stay undisturbed for months if not longer, and earn effortless passive income for your side.

I'm sure a system could be implemented that scans for and invalidates such inactive mules accounts.

I would like to see an option to decline some quests. Not all of them; in this game's structure you need a carrot to go out into the world, visit your friend's gateways, engage in pvp.
But some (at least for me) are just not possible or desirable. For example, the Facebook connect quest? I don't WANT to connect to Facebook, not for that measly reward. I'd like to see it gone, but it's right there since level 1. Another example is the collect 100 energy. Even during the harvesting campaign, the dearth of gateways in the areas (note: not the lack of actual physical neighborhoods here, just how GA figures out where to have them) makes it impossible to get that even in 3 hours at the regular recharge rate. And that's assuming that the Architects leave my doms alone.
Maybe there could be a few "free" passes that you can use to decline a quest to go onto the next one, and that are recharged by taking a couple of that type of quests.

Sometimes dodging is the only way to stand alone against hordes of angry lvl 15 architect mages
