At times I use a wifi-only Ipad, and I love the fact that I've never had any problems with drawing one spell on the screen and the game casting another. Bigger screen seems to help.
Iphone 4 works fine for most of the time I'm in the game.

If I had an iPod or iPad I'd probably say that. Only because playing on the iPhone, getting a call or text in the middle of a fight sucks.

Agreed. I play on my iPod, so I don't have that problem, but I could see where that would get really annoying.
That said, I've heard that playing on the iPad is excellent, both because of the larger screen, and because it doesn't overheat so easily and crash.

I'm on the iPhone 4. Would hate to be tied down to a Wi-Fi connection.
Thanks to the mobility aspect, I've been able to take over my entire city.

I only have the iPad to use when playing and I can personally say that I do not come across as much lag as I see others fuss about. Not to say that I don't have any lag, it just does not happen as often.
Also the bigger screen is lovely for maneuvering and casting. I still get the odd miscast here and there (which is utterly baffling at times) but again, not a huge deal.
I guess my only qualm about using the iPad is the fact that I'm restricted to places that have accessible wifi. I already have a cellphone plan so I didn't feel like paying for another plan for the iPad when I knew I'd just go over it and have hell to pay anyway.
If the game ever gets to android then I will be more prone to wandering. But as it stands I spend majority of my time at home or at school and both places have wifi so I'm relatively content with my connectivity heh

I play on the iPod. Wish I had 3G so I could just literally walk to a new location instead of leapfrogging, but I am glad that data plans aren't a concern. And my friends are probably glad that I don't whip out the game everywhere we go...

When playing on the iPad I cannot access cloudview more than one time without it freezing up. If this issue was fixed it would be fine to play on there.

Ok well i have an iphone and my mom has ipad. I have never played this game on the ipad.
In my opinions an ipad is better to play on but thats only because of bigger screen, which can also allow you to read faster so u can get back to battle.
Personally Iphone can be better to. if you have ipad without 3G. When at home i use wifi to not go over, and when on bus i have 3g thats about an hour 5 days a week. and at school im pretty sure thats wifi, but even if its 3g, its only 30 minutes a day because i can only have it out at lunch
Iphone for win
