My stroke of Genius. Maybe.

So I was sleeping in today trying to get my butt out of bed, when I had a stroke of genius! Why not make new mages a neutral color/faction? It would alleviate a lot of the things that make people complain in this game. Link all beacons for the lowbie faction in the Battlegroup so they can get the whole friend experience.
Pro's:
Removes the "Guessing game" when making a new hero when you know NOTHING about the game
Removes the ability to use seconds accounts to take advantage of missions and such (Unless they put in work, but that's harder to beat)
Allows low players to have doms, unlike now where they summon a dom and it is instantly destroyed by an opposing faction member
Stops people from using low accounts to spy on beacons
Low player abuse is numerous.
REMOVES DOM FARMS! So many people make alt accounts to get more energy for their side. This way they would have to actually level up the character or else the energy wouldn't count.
Con's:
Might be hard to put in the game
Makes the guide system pushed back or different (Although lets be honest, 90% of people chosen to be guides are either on the leaderboards/first one to say something in team/crosschat or a random name. I think something like 4 people used Jesus or God as their guide when they first started lol.)
*Wasn't sure how to word this in the pro's catagory but it also eliminates the randomness of who wins campaigns. I've seen in the freaking intense energy hungry campaign of the Californians that a lot of rounds are decided by who has the most low lvl farmers. It doesn't matter if Jest gets 15k energy or we are equal on the leaderboards in terms of energy gathered, if the Anim/Arch have 100 more lvl5's with their 2 doms logging on every hour, they amass 500 energy say. THAT'S 50,000 ENERGY! That wins rounds folks.
Anyway, discuss, add to and help me with it.

I like this idea, the mages could be neutral until they reach a level 6 when they get their own beacon spell, and at that time they also have to choose the side.
this makes lvl 6 player as a proven mage for the cause of the Academy they choose.

Do you really not understand Folant or are you being a Jerk? (Not to be confused with JxRK)

I understand perfectly, just confused why this is even considered any kind of solution to the issues mentioned.

Folant is a known forum troll, Honor.
That being said, newbie rules have worked pretty well in the past. I'm game to at least try this method.

This is actually really quite clever. I think I would have liked something like this when I was new. A chance to get to know the teams and who'd be on your team before committing...

I like the idea. Don't know if level 6 is high enough to choose though. Reaching level 6 can be done quite quickly nowadays.
