@ Hyac I totally agree with you! The fault lay on both sides! Blame cannot be put on one group! It takes two to tango after all!

It's all well and good want to remember the events 10 years ago, and the idea of beacons at ground zero is noble, I guess, but anyone who even had the slightest inkling that this would turn out any other way is kidding themselves.
It's got nothing to do with disrespect, dishonour, or any bullshit like that, it's to do with no matter how well that tool GiantCock might have wanted to organise this, it's still just a game, on the Internet. It's not really the place for something like this. It never will be.

This crazy casting madness was sad, but I was proud to participate, just casted two beacons for the French bg, and was banished twice without responding, my way to pay tribute to the moment...
Thanks to all those who came peacefully, a great achievement in a way.
And BIG THANKS to those who organised, on both side!

I was banished three times and summoned a beacon on a footprint of one of the towers. I only used aria of light. I feel my duty is done.

I'm proud of Architects like you; you aren't taking it personally. You did the mature thing.
There was definitely some accidental fighting that was resolved, but then there are those that understood what was going on, and continued attacking any way. It's extremely difficult to organize something like this in a game of this nature, and I expected some combat from misunderstanding. I just wish those that finally understood after a while would have shown more respect and backed off. It's moments like that where I wish we had friendly fire; I would have been stomping some Animator ass, big time.
And just so everyone knows, this event was not for the honor of America or it's government. We did this to honor the deceased and their suffering families. It has nothing to do with patriotism, in my opinion. If this kind of event is held in Britain, or anywhere else that has been terrorized, I will be there too, to honor my fellow man.

I agree completely. surely this is just a game. but when you are playing a massive game like this, you gotta realize that there are people on the inside of those green or orange orbs floating on that screen. they have emotions too. they care about this. please don't ruin it for them.

Also wanted to show that this did not go all array as those who decided to participate were strong in doing so and we did stand in unity! Thank you!

Yes and I am proud of all the Animators AND Architects that refrained from attacking during this event.
