Shroud is good but has the potential to be OP because you'll have ninja squads going in and out of areas, sneaking up on you (imagine 10x lvl 15 shrouded mages...!!)etc; I would recommend it being detectable by Wards as a balance?
I agree with cryslam, i again only like the shroud of darkness of the suggested spells, but then there should be some kind of spell that others can use to unveil you if they have a feeling or something, however they get no other indication that you are there. or maybe a new kind of power consumer that you can plant that will siphon off peoples Shroud's and use their energy? something like that.

I would've just said the ability to give other teammates some of ur mana, like healing each other only with mana.
Thats also a really good idea, a mana sharing spell, although i would like to make sure that it wouldnt work cross team because i know i would accidentally use it.

Great ideas. I actually had a very similar thought to your Shroud spell. I was thinking it could be called Cloak of Invisibility. And I too feel that casting while cloaked would then make you visible, except for Warp, which could be cast while remaining invisible.
I agree the spell could be abused, so there would need to be a counter to it and I think Cryslam's idea that wards could detect cloaked mages is terrific. The flash that currently accompanies the appearance of an enemy mage could also be in effect, so that at least you would know that someone was around.

War chant is totally necessary. It need to be put in like tomorrow. Lol.
Shroud is a cool idea, but coil totally break the game. You would shroud, go where you have to, war chant, warp away, and re-shroud. Battle would be impossible for anybody with out t, and a breeze for anybody with it. Maybe of there was a cooldown on it, so you could only cast it once an hour or half hour or something.

I think a time limit would be a good way to ensure the SoD isn't abused. Maybe a minute? and maybe a ten second cooldown like Tigergoalie suggested. I'd also like to suggest a spell that can help quickly unbanish teammates and allow them to come straight back, maybe one called(just pullin this name out of my rear from a trading card of something)ShareThePain which allows you to unbanish a teammate by giving them half your health and mana.

I like the ideas, to prevent shroud abuse further, to be used in LF, make it shroud you from your own team as well.
