gateways in Fulham, UK

I tought there were only gateways in Finland, Sweden, USA and Canada. But this afternoon I've found a beacon in Fulham, UK. When I warped to that place, I found some gateways in that area.
Now is my question: what happened there? Did you allow some gateways in that area for some reason, was it an accident, is it a test to enable more gateways soon in the UK and other countries,...?

I'm not positive, but I think the gateways are generated automatically. If someone happened to go to the UK for whatever reason, they could have conceivably set up a beacon there. But I think the whole world has gateways already for when that area is open. Or, I could be totally wrong, but browsing the forums has sort of given me that feeling.

There are gateways in UK, Germany, Netherlands and Spain.. I think. In other places they haven't been activated.. yet.

The whole world does has already gateways, gathered from www.geonames.org. But only the four countries I mentioned in my first post should have active gateways.
You're theory about those gateways being generated automatically can't be right, because then there would be more gateways in more countries, I know there are Asian players, German players, Belgian players, ... and in none of these areas are gateways...

where did you get that information? I only found the 4 countries listed above...

Most of the gateways are still inactive. We will be activating them as Shadow Cities is released to new markets. We have activated some amount of gateways already in UK and a couple of other countries, but as a general rule of thumb the gateways are at the moment active only on the countries where Shadow Cities has been released: US, Canada, Sweden and Finland.

can you tell us the reason why you're waiting to activate all the gateways and to release the game worldwide?
I can't think of any reason myself...
Players around the world can already play your game, but only a few countries can do everything you're supposed to be able to do. I think releasing this game worldwide would increase the number of players drastically, which would mean more feedback for you and of course more money.
I also said on your twitter account that I want to help where I can, just let me know if you have some issues and I'll see what I can do about them!
