Hi,
I just wanted to ask your opinion:
What are the three coolest things in Shadow Cities?
We appreciate your input. :-)

Hi Aurelius,
for me that would be:
1_ To play in my backyard thanks to the GPS aspect of the game,
even if it allows spoofers to ruin the game...
2_ To travel the world beacon jumping, discovering new places by frogging,
and meeting new international friends in the process (1200 is not enough, by the way!!!)
3_ To be an Architect

1) Able to not only make friends from all over the world, but know which ones are close enough I could actually meet in person if I so chose.
2) Being here from near the beginning, and able to affect how the game develops.
3) Definitely the community. Definitely, definitely, definitely. I've met so many cool people, and they've been so ridiculously helpful. Which is close to number 1, I suppose, but in a different way.

One of the most appealing aspects of this game is that it is location-based. There are many occasions in which I've traveled off the beaten path just to raid a nearby cabbage patch.
Along the same lines, its global playing field allows for collaborative and competitive play with people all around the world.
Lastly, the game mechanics are well-tuned enough to keep players engaged to the point where they become contributors.

1. The cool, funny, and helpful people I've met through this game
2. Exploring my neighborhood and beyond from my room
3. The simple, friendly fight with my fellow Chicagoans for the control of the area where I grew up lol
Even all the crashing and other problems can't keep me away!

My top one is being able to jump around the world via the beacons. The first time I hit a New York City beacon, I was amazed at the sheer number of gateways, and how that changed game play. Another time I realized I was in a town only an hour away from me. Traveling the world and patrolling is a huge plus for me.
I also really like how the game is about individual and team effort. Lots of possibilities for small unit tactics, while a single individual can still stealth into an enemy area and wreak havoc.
The mission system is also well done.

I'd say that my top one is the ability to travel to beacons not only in my own country, and that itself is pretty cool.
This game seems 'real' to me in the sense that it has a GPS and you can literally play in your own backyard (haha)
And lastly, I've gotta say that the way the greens and oranges have their own team chat and the cross team chat is pretty useful sometimes.

Definitely the people! I've got some amazing OJs in my battle group,
Being able to visit places across the globe,
And lastly.... the way the gameplay is, got some pretty awesome ideas here. Never could have imagined playing a game like this when I got my iPod, and now I can't put it down!

1- Location based is the best. Allows you to feel WAY more integrated in the game. Additionally made awesome by the ability to jump to another country. (Suggestion Note: A cloudview description of what continent or country you are in would be nice...sometimes I have no idea where I am).
2- Team and Public chats. Allows you something to do while your mana recharges or if you're simply bored. Provides interaction and friend networking.
3- Missions. Without missions I would definitely get bored hunting at random and waiting for my Doms to refill.
Side Note - Free isn't really an aspect of the game-play, but it is probably the best feature.
