Guide to Ethical Alt Account Usage

Monk, by your own admission, you have have used many more that two Alts. I saw more than the two you just mentioned this evening. You attacked my realm with them.
You use your alts to do more than spy. You use your Alts for attacking, for marking realms for others Architects to attack. Once you entered my realm with an Animator Alt so that I could not banish you before you switched to your Monkkbfr account to purchase my realm.
To be clear, I know that my words to you mean little, and I do not speak to argue with you. I am again raising the issue for GA's attention, and for the Architects' attention. I again call for all Architects to unfriend Monkkbfr.

Nope. Two alts. a green named zombieelvis and a arch named zombiemonk. That's all I have. It's all you've ever seen me use because there are no others. If you've seen others, you're taking too many of those meds you prescribe.
I don't even hide them. I just use them as outlined above. Spying and recon.
YOUR team, on the other hand, uses them to 'cheat' (by your definition) and spells it out very clearly.

The game is social and thus norms and culture will arise. There will always be cheats, free riders and anti-social monks. I applaud the folks who have stood up and have helped create a deeper, richer, more social experience than the developers could have designed. I also applaud the hands off approach from GA (to some extent). I do think it a bit funny to argue for limits on a person's ability to chose their academy while decrying any normative incentive on behavior, but hey, a story is always improved by a good villain.
Don't kid yourself about spying though. It's immoral in the real world too, and illegal -- what exactly happens to spies who get caught?

As Monkkbfr has demonstrated by lying about the content and nature of the forum thread mentioned above, his veracity is questionable at best. "Everybody does it' is neither true nor is it a justification for cheating.

I'm curious on people's thoughts on using alts to destroy spotter doms (my term for doms left near a hidden beacon that are most likely from an alt themselves, for the purpose of making it easier for the other team to track down the beacon).

I have to admit this idea crossed my mind more than once for one bc left by a player who since dropped SC... Only reason why I will never do it is that this bc is someplace where I'd have to spoof to if I was orange.
Edit to add that the "green only" thread about alt farming is several pages long of greens telling the OP off. Monk, if you missed this, you're a lousy spy.

I agree that it's tempting to create an alt to destroy a cheater's dominator when it has been placed on a hidden beacon. But to me, that would be cheating. You would be justifying your acts by saying that the other player cheated first, which is a frequent argument of those who do cheat. As I said above, I don't think it's right to justify cheating in that manner. I would prefer to see players rise above that and accept the challenge of beating those who feel they can't win honestly.
