And this I why I am a proponent of vigilantism. Got a cheat? Can you prove it? I'll be glad to help out. There are ways to make a cheating player miserable and rage-quit.

Silly Peas.

Let me ruin the game for you just a little more, just for the trolling fun of it.

This game is here for one reason: Money. Every single action of the game is designed to get you to spend money on buying Mana. Everything. The community you so treasure? Designed to create alliances that cause you to help each other and use up more mana faster with the hope of getting you to....

Buy More Mana.

The reason it takes so long to recharge? It's timed, very specifically with the help of clinical shrinks to be just long enough to be frustrating, but not so long that you leave the game. Why?

To get you to Buy More Mana.

Every. Single. Action.

The entire game is designed around that one principle: Get the user to Buy More Mana.

SC could care less about your communities, as long as you're Buying More Mana. If it helps with that, cool. Otherwise, it's a pain in the ass (all those whiney posts from the users... how tiring...that's a quote you can get from every single game developer on the planet).

Now, Let's look down on the player who actually buys mana, shall we? Yes, we shall!

Not so fast kimosabi. That guy buying mana? He's paying for you to play. Without him, there is no Shadow Cities. Without that 'paying' player, that scummy guy who can't play the game 'honorably' by wasting hundreds of hours of his life grinding spirits (vs. buying mana so the game moves faster so he has time for playing ball with his son or watching his daughters plays, you know.. something USEFUL in life vs. the soul sucking vacumn of a casual game)......without that guy who buys mana....you all have nothing. Squat. Nada.

And guess who spends more on SC than on food each month? Yea. Me. I'm supporting a couple of thousand of you, at least, every month.

I'm what they call in the gaming industry 'a whale'. I do it here. I do it in several other games. It's part of my job. I have unlimited mana because of it.

I'm the real reason this game exists, and because of that, they'll never ever ban me or others like me. This game is made for me, the guy who buys mana to speed up the game play, not for you sorry cheap suckers who waste your lives grinding away doing something with zero purpose and zero positive effect on the planet, like the majority of all you Peas.

Suck on that Giant Dong.

And stop being naive about how manipulated you and your minions are. You simply can't be that dense. At least, I hope not.

And I won't be leaving anytime soon. I quite like this game, and I have thousands of pots to spend over the coming year or two, maybe three. My game company is funded for another several years, so, I'm not going anywhere. Research and game play here and several other games is all part of the fun.

Enjoy the troll kids. He's here to stay.

Can't hurt to turn in a ticket, at least then it's somewhere on their radar screen, even if they don't take immediate action on it.

my bad... thought he was in Spain bg

SerottaCSi, I considered reporting, but really we're like 5 in this case now, and since we don't even have gateways, I'm guessing my ticket won't make it to the "things worth looking into" lol.

Monk- I don't get it. This thread is about creating alts, not spending money. But, to be fair, it's hard to take anything seriously from someone who refers to himself as "GiantDong" - really, lol

That's sort of my take on it.

Anyone who has to announce the size of something like that has to have a complex of some sort. It makes me think of those guys who drive huge black pickup trucks with massively oversized tires to their jobs as sales clerks at sears. Whenever I see that all I can think is: "gee, I'm really sorry about the size of your penis'.

Helping fund the game does not give one the right to be abusive, nor to cheat.

And I gather that GD's handle was selected by his wife...

"The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

The quotation comes from Shakespeare's Hamlet, Act III, scene II. The phrase has come to mean that one can "insist so passionately about something not being true that people suspect the opposite of what one is saying."[1]
