destroy the other team's flags! aka the beacons that were put up by "AnimatorFlag" or "ArchitectFlag"

ask once more, maybe they'll tell you. 
seems like the object is to find and destroy the five beacons from the other team. would like to see more strategy in hiding/placing beacons to prevent gromods. maybe a larger playing field like say, the five boroughs. do we even have any animators in staten island? lol

I strongly support the idea of putting the flags in the Hudson and East Rivers and having them be in view of Manhattan gateways.
As you plan this I would keep in mind one thing, which is that people who aren't familiar with NYC's geography will need a little intro in order to be an effective player.
I assume the Flag accounts will need to be leapfrogged out onto the river to place the flags.
One question, where will people "start"? On Manhattan, or by their respective flags? This can be tightly controlled by the NYBG people who are beaconing in help and NYBG would jointly agree where to beacon in their team.

I would suggest RE the "flag accounts" remaining inactive that they friend each other so they can see the last-on time. I'm sure that neither side would cheat, but it can't hurt.

The thought is that everyone will add ArchitectFlag as a friend, and then will warp to the beacon before the start. We will then depower the bcn and go. so people will start by their flags. then people can set up crazy defenses and attacks and whatnot
This is vulnerable to spoofers dropping in, but hopefully it will work. If we get a good response, the beacons will be quite nicely and creative guarded.

First of all, thank Etho and Mob for this great idea and the post on the forum.
Here are some of my thoughts.
1. ArchitectFlag and AnimatorFlag, please submit a comment here so everyone can send you a friend request. Accept only the same color friends. We all know there will be spies but we have to and will live with that.
2. All 10 flag beacons (5 owned by ArchitectFlag and 5 owned by AnimatorFlag) have to be cast at least 2 hours before the event time to make sure everyone can confirm the age of these no-power beacons at the end of their beacon list to prevent any foul play.
3. Friends of ArchitectFlag and AnimatorFlag can check roughly where these beacons are based on the gateway names beacons attached to. Players would know where to help when status feeds mention beacon names.
4. ArchitectFlag and AnimatorFlag can post status in SC before the event started so each side can use those threads as the major communication channels for tactics and announcements. Additional threads can be started separately if needed.
5. My suggestion is that Architects to take East River (east to Manhattan) as their base and Animators with Hudson River (west to Manhattan). It's more reasonable this way since NY Architects controlled majority part of Queens and same as NY Animators in Manhattan.
