Addition: Portals

The new changes to beacons have made them mostly a quick summon in spell and taken away their usefulness as a travel network. How about adding a new portal spell. A mage could cast one portal hole and go to another location and cast another connecting portal hole. We would quickly see portal hubs being constructed by the two sides to make travel and spirit hunting easier and the beacons could stay as quick-in summons.

Would there be a limit to the number of portals a mage has? What kind of mana do they cost? Can other mages use them?
If this became a replacement for what beacons used to mean, could GA implement them without lag problems arising again?
(I for one am for going back to full beacon lists, lag and all if that's what it comes to)

3 pairs of portals per Mage. Anybody on your team can use them. The mana cost could be whatever.

i like this idea, but i think u should unlock them at lvl 15 or lvl 2's would be portaling all over the place.

Ideas To Add

-To cast a portal is half a mana bar
-to get spell you have to reach level 16 (this means more levels. And will have level 15s looking forward to something)
-Portals should not show up on CV (another stealthy way to get opposing team)
-Get an extra portal for each spell point you put into it (so It could start at 1 portal then add on)
-Uses no power from dominator energy
