I'm starting to really worry about all the tweens in my BG (south central USA). I don't know how old anyone is (quite a few talk about getting grounded, or being in school), but I know the game is 9+ and we have some pretty consistently nasty conversation going on in xchat. It's pretty much x-rated about 30% of the time. I'm not at all complaining on my own behalf (sometimes it's funny, and i think it's mostly just harmless banter between a few actual friends), but I started to worry tonight when a player I think is probably a tween got bullied pretty hard in a fairly xrated way, and the night just got nastier. It's no place for anyone under 18, in my opinion.

Is it just my wackadoo bg, or is this a pervasive issue?

good to know, thanks. hnh. i can identify a swarm of players under 18 - half of the worst chat probably comes from them, lol. i'm not interested in taking the game away from people (their parents should do that), but i am curious if other bgs' xchat is as porntastic and mean as ours.

My xchat in CA bg was terribly abusive and nasty to me 2 days ago. And a lot of my team, said nothing...just stayed quiet. I pretty much sticking to being under the radar--not entering either chat
