Some people’s stories end at the “Happily Ever After” and the “The End”, but my story only starts here. You see if you read between the lines of the classic story of the mage, you can barely make out the smudged story of the “After”, the story hidden forever by the mages who experienced it, until now.

The adrenaline rushed through me, I could feel my heart beating in my chest. This was it. Mages all around were forecasting it as one of the biggest battles the Shadow Cities had ever held. Beacons were strategically placed all over, like a forest of green. Every mage who was any mage was there.
Curse that stupid Zmey, I thought as I felt my body healing itself. I couldn’t heal myself, then I’d have to pop a bottle of valuable mana I needed for the battle. So I laid back and waited for the painfully slow process of healing. The odd feeling had become normal now, almost a good feeling. Finally, the last burn mark where that nasty summoned Cikavic had hit me faded back to its green twinge.
Taking a minute to prepare myself, I closed my eyes, and when I opened them I was in back of my teammates, in the center of the green forest. I quickly warped up to the action, heading out to the side. During this time, I spotted my first orange of the day. As I warped, more and more appeared until the screen was a complete mass of two colors. The sides looked even, and as I looked around, I noticed all the familiar faces of my enemies. They were decorated in their battle uniform, equipped with their lightning, fire, and such, and proudly displaying their new talents and sigils clipped to them.
I snuck through the crowd to the front line which had wrapped around the orange and blasted my best War Chant of Light at the crowd, which was moving so quickly with everyone dodging I couldn’t make out who it was. Soon after though, I realized it was Foxstar, a Visionary of the Architects who, blinded by the war around, hadn’t seen my cast, and was wounded by my hit, only slightly, but still. He looked around and saw me, snickering, while dodging a hit from GhostEcho which I barely missed, the light bomb flying over my left side as I ducked. Foxstar set his eyes on me in a glare which clearly said, “YOU”.
I warped across the whole line of teammates, hoping to lose him and find a new victim. I scanned the crowd, feeling like a big bully while searching for a lower or equal level Mage with a laugh to myself. Seeing a cast fly past me, I moved to the left, but realized it was intended for Andymercer, who dodged a wild right across the row. Suddenly, a felt something burning, and looked at myself to see a chant of light had hit me square in the stomach. I looked up to see Foxstar, who had warped across the orange line to catch up with me. I glared back; it was so on.
He disappeared back out of my sight of view, and I pushed my way to the front of the crowd which was moving so quickly, barely making his outline out, I flung out a huge cast bigger than normal and grinned, watching him take it unexpectedly, casting again, I stepped over to Chiemichan, smiling a quick hello, and noticing her health was down, I cast a quick Aria and searched for Foxstar who had popped away again. Why couldn’t he just let me banish him?
I looked through the crowd and saw him, throwing out a War Chant, but only a little squirt popped out. I cursed and pulled a bottle of mana from my side and chugged it down, feeling refreshed. I jumped in the air at a cast from a lil’ level 5 with an unfamiliar name, while simultaneously, a lil’ level 7 slammed me with a critical. What was this, attack of the mini Mages? I hopped away, searching for another target.
Humming the familiar tune of Tamacun, I felt a slice come across my face and I yelped, seeing Depth’s light hit me. I slammed him with one back once, then again before he could even move with a laugh. He started to send another, but I gave one back and saw him fly up into the clouds, and smiled wildly in accomplishment. The first banish of the day was always the sweetest.
As I breathed in quickly, suddenly, everyone seemed to slow down, and it wasn’t the familiar feeling of lag, no, it was something from…? I shook it off and tried to run, but found my body moving so slowly, it was like I wasn’t moving at all. Almost as if… time were standing still? Impossible, but was it at all… possible? How else could it be explained?
Suddenly I felt my eyes closing, and what felt like a second later, they opened. I was definitely not in any familiar place. I squinted my eyes, as the sky was not the usual navy, but a bright whiteish-blue. Some white things fell from the sky, and landed on the ground, adding to the piles of this substance that had already gathered. It was an odd sight to see.
I looked around, taking in my surroundings. There were big, tall, square things that towered up into the sky. Some were green, others blue, red, black or white. Some box ran past down a big path. This place sure was odd. Then, a thought came across my mind and I looked down at myself. I had pale skin, which lacked its usual green tint. My clothing was strange, not the battle attire I had been in what only felt like seconds ago. Something wasn’t right here…
I bent over and touched the soft, cold, white stuff on the ground, and it had such a strange texture. It wasn’t like anything back in Shadow Cities. I doubt I was even in Shadow Cities. But I couldn’t mope around all day out here, so I decided to take a walk. Who know what I’d find? Maybe that wasn’t the right question… But anyways, I started walking, into what might as well been the unknown, and that’s when I saw it. It was a big black sign and gold inscribed letters told it all. Welcome to Massachusetts.
At the time, I had no idea what this word meant, but I was sure I had heard it before. I wracked my memory. Where in the name of...? And then it hit me. That was my battlegroup all that time ago. Strange name, but it started to make sense now. As I walked the path it seemed familiar.
What was this place, an opposite of our world, another dimension possibly? I pondered the many possibilities as I walked along the white dust covered pathways. First off, a good question to ask might be, how did I manage to get here, and what was up with the whole time freezing thing? Okay, fine that was two, but that’s beside the point! What’s the point? Well, um, I’m not exactly sure. But heck, adventure calls.

I am breaking my hiatus to respond, seeing how my name is mentioned.
First, I am honored you included me in your story, but really xD? You know I don't participate in wars.
Second, I like the story, (except part of me being banished >_>) and am interested to see where it leads.
