Please sound in if you thing the new ABC/AHC doms are a bad idea

Wow, this sucks a huge donkey turd. What in the blue hell is GA thinking? It's bad enough that the game lags out whenever any PVP action gets good. Now we have to deal with cancerous doms infecting everywhere you go? It's like, logging in to play actually HELPS the other side. I should switch teams and prance around the globe like Johnny-friggin'-Appleseed to help out the Architects.

For me, I get a big green circle in cloud view that I don't want to see. That's where the dominator is.

i have random ahcd that show up because ppl take the metro past my area... and unfortunately it causes random abcs that cause more ahcd to appear...i hate this idea

There is only one Gateway within Cloudview range of where I am. At the best of times, I have only 2 AHC dominators near me (base location + GW location). I get no energy from AHC doms, since the GW is taken, and for every dom i pop, another spawns. Feels like work, not fun at all ... And I have yet to see any ABCs (THAT would actually help me).

Back to the drawing board, guys.

Chadj, thanks for taking this feedback into consideration. I am playing a lot less hours because of this new feature. I greatly dislike how it a) trivializes wanton, liberate, 3 dominator, and initiate missions; b) clutters cloudview and regular view with doms that can't be harvested and are of much less value to the enemy; and c) distort game play by rewarding alt-farming-like behavior. Please drop this new feature at the end if this campaign. Or sooner. Thanks.

Well, it's certainly quieted the game down. There are a lot less people on. Also, it's a lot easier to get into the top 100. Mind you, the people who were already racking up huge scores with dom farms in dense areas have been racking up even bigger scores during this campaign because they're harvesting all the doms their enemies drop when they raid them too. So the ones who already had a lot, get more, and the rest kind of drift away from the game for the week.

The addition of the ABC/AHC dominators has most definitely NOT improved game play. It's rendered certain PvP missions utterly unimportant and unlikely to generate conflict: destroy 3 dominators, liberate 2 gateways, wanton destruction, and initiate a battle. Each can be done from the safety of one's own spawn or a remote teammate's beacon. This slows the gameplay down from that perspective, since raiding and battles are less needed for scoring. It's also slowed game movement via leapfrog since formerly neutral gateways are turned to hostile gateways as they come in to view. ABC/AHC beacons are frequently something urban players can no longer avoid and I'm noticing teams are less interested in responding to those beacons. It becomes cruel to flatten a player every time he/she harvests. Oddly, the additional command beacons have not increased pace of play as people begin to ignore them.

Lastly, consider the effect on those urban players determined to score big. Harvesting used to be 30% of a big-time scorer's total. It's now 50%-60% and those players may harvest as many as 16 dominators. That's 9.5 minutes of mana for a top player at 105/tick regeneration rate. In other words, more than a quarter of that player's time is now spent waiting on mana to execute the least interesting part of the game: the harvest spell.

As for me, I'm just earning my usual potions despite the crushing boredom of this round, hoping that the entire mod (plus all the spam dominators) are discontinued for good at the end of this campaign. Worst idea since the notorious free movement campaign.
