Finding your location

I logged in today for the first time since the idiotic AB/HC doms weren't removed on Monday, and I can't get passed the "Finding your Location" screen. Down loaded the "new" update - still can't get past "Finding your location". Ten minutes of a blank map. I'm on the same WiFi network I always use.

unfortunately, my bet is the abc/ahc doms won't be disappearing. :x

I fear you are correct. Every new 'test' feature that is introduced STAYS, despite massive player requests to remove it, that it kills the game.
GA doesn't listen. And apparently they don't care that players are leaving in throngs.
I used to spend 4-12 hrs a day on this game. Now I spend maybe an hour A WEEK, just checking in to see if it still sucks. (And, invariably, it does.)

Have you tried connecting from any other wi-fi network, or through a more dedicated internet connection, such as your device's 3g/4g network?

Just got on after 3 failed wifi networks and 2 long loops on 3G. So what, the game is unplayable on wifi now?

We've not received any similar reports since the update, Kieri. We'll be sure to keep our eyes open, however, and troubleshoot any issues should they arise. In any case, we're glad to hear that you are once again able to login!

I have problems with 'finding your location' on iPad 3, the gps doesn't start when I start the app. I have to close the app and start another gps app, I then can start SC and it will find my location. Then it will works If close the app for a while, but if I leave the iPad for a couple hours I have to start another gps app to get it to work again.

I have a problem I can't even get on the game I get a blue screen with a black oval in the middle but can't get past it
