One interesting idea for SC: Mage level cycling

Since Leveling to the max 18 or whatever the max is set to becomes stagnant for long periods of time. A new idea would be to have the mage level back down to level 2 or level 9. I believe this would create more competition throughout the game and prevent mages from creating new accounts to level again.
The idea is once a mage leveled to the max, they are cycled to a lower level mage but with each cycle you are given a respect token to mark your landmark acheivement and a wild card to pick from choices of how you would like to use it to jump ahead, like quick level or fill 4 spells. The cycling to a lower level is not opitional either so mages cannot say, no i would like to stay at max level.
The idea needs refinements from other mages that read this. But like said before a non-ending cycling of leveling would put an end to becoming stagnant and put an end to other mages creating alternative accounts to level up again. And could possibly stop mages from switching sides for more excitement. And in addition GA could add more levels at their convenience, along with any other ideas they think up.

it is not per say de-leveled.. it is leveled with great respects paid toward the mage...I myself am retired because I am leveled and now stagnant. So I have no choice but to retire. I am not going to do the same thing day in and day out. I thought I would offer a way to renew competition

add 5 levels and a couple more spells. I will stay in retirement because i will reach stalemate again in no time. Not worth coming out of retirement. Because we will be in the same position. I still support state BG's ultimately

Personally, I do like the idea, but I think mages should have a choice in whether or not they want to level down. It's wrong to automatically take away hard work, even if you're giving them something in exchange. Especially if they're like me and level because they want to get to the top level. It's a little like beating the game.

Sounds like cod prestiging thing. Only the reward for 'cycling' will have to be greater than losing 18 lvls and spells

I am just searching for for a fun way to keep the game competitive. Maybe relevel mages to level 9 and they keep all spells but attributes are reset.
