Why I will not ostracize those banned by Grey Area

Haha you act like I haven't dumped a couple hundred or thousand hours into my accounts too. The onlynreasom people are making a big deal over the Anni account is because it's Anni ffs. Its one of yalls star accounts. Y'all didn't see us trying to make GA prove it when the Knuckles account got banned did you? (later we learned the account was hacked and the insta-pot-ban used on it). He fucked up, he cheated, he got caught. Big deal. It's his own damn fault for pressing that "buy" button and his own damn fault for getting banned. Just like its MY own damn fault for getting banned. And ffs!! It's THEIR DAMN GAME! Why do they have to give "proof" of any fuckin thing??!!!!!!!! You got a problem with it LEAVE. I mean shit. Who. Actually. Cares. Oh wait, I know, yalls team because yalls little poster child (or one of them) is gone now. Big whoop. I've had plenty of accounts banned. For multiple reason.

I got the same e-mail as chuckie.
I explained before that I have never spoofed, however I had downloaded the game, and logged in as anni with another device to show someone the game, and then logged back in on my own device after some time and distance after telling the person to log off my account for me (I had forgotten I was logged on that device).
I have also remote harvested, once to see if I could do it, another to confirm. Perhaps these incidents combined were enough to count as several? I dunno
Apparently people whom I know that also have done these things, many more times than me, are not banned, so I can only come to the conclusion that they only ban those who are reported or who have multiple reports, a full-scale sweep would have hit more than just 5-6 players in my opinion. Since I have many haters I'm not surprised I would get randomly reported.
I'm not sour about this, and I haven't spent more than $25, unless counting itunes gift cards, I do have several more which I thankfully haven't used yet.. but I'd like to see GA's reply to what they actually determined was "spoofing", the logging in, or the remote harvesting instances.
So pretty much report those you hate and see if it works? Even if I get anni back, I think I like it here better for.. obvious reasons

Maybe GA should warn any cheaters first and if the cheaters did not heed the warning then GA should ban them. It gives them a chance to correct their mistakes.

Sorry to interrupt here but this cheating / not cheating drama (and the lag and crashes) is what made me loose a lot of interest in SC... So I'm sharing.
I used to have a lot of respect for 2 great players, one hard core warrior mage and one crazy ass tactician, both international class leaders.
Then one of them got banned. This player swore on his pants that this was a terrible mistake and unfair to him, and we Greens believed and supported him. A lot of us refriend his new account and he quickly was the big gun again.
Then one day, the tactician dude casually admitted in status that yes, that player was a cheater, he had known for some time, had confronted the guy who reacted like a spoiled brat, and decided to let it go. He didn't expose the cheater, and didn't report him to GA either, according his own words.
Both those guys were playing a major role in exposing and camping rumoured cheaters at that time, and at least one of them is still doing it.
So seriously, I'm still following the tactician's lead on raid and lp and spiders and things related to game strategy, but I'd be a fool to trust him again about game ethics after witnessing his double standards firsthand.
As far as I'm concerned, GA are more impartial in their decisions and the best judges of who is doing what on their game. They may make a few mistakes, but we players are too emotionally involved to judge our peers.

Your ridiculous Ser. GA will not go after ANYONE. Only those who they feel are cheating. Why don't you give THEM the benefit of doubt that that you overwhelmingly give to the accused. If you received the letter, like chuck who knows he cheated, why continue to ask for more proof? He did it, accepted and move on. Last thing. If you don't like it, QUIT. Nobody is stopping you. Nobody is forcing you to play this game. Nobody is bigger than this game. You want to cheat, fine. But don't cry innocent and whine about unfair treatment. You do the crime, then do the time. The players already have another account. They are still playing. It's not the end of the world. It's a game. Have fun, rememeber?

I'm married to Preacherman and will tell him about this thread when he comes home. But I can tell you this; he has NEVER, I repeat NEVER, been spoofing, remote harvesting, or ANYTHING like it. He has been emailing GA at least 4 times, asking what the hell is going on, but still no answer from them.

Sero, the problem with your stance is that you're asking for a standard of proof you're unlikely to ever get. Nobody's going to cheat while you're watching, and GA is not likely to release their complete logs and audit trails so you can inspect the raw data and make an independent decision.
So in practical terms, you're saying "As long as you deny the charges, I'll believe you're innocent."
I'd also like to see GA release more detailed information and be more open about precisely what actions they're banning people for, but the position you're taking encourages people to lie when caught. If Raelyne had simply denied it, you'd be great with her too.

you say only 5-6 mages got banned... but there are several undiscovered. Recently I had been tracking a remote harvester. They have not appeared in any battles I have seen in a few days or set their dom back up on their hidden buff gate that I spent a few hours leaping to.
