Access restricted, Contact player support... Weak Network connection

Dear Grea Area:

I have recentily tryed to purchase mana potions and get that message when I try to log In, I have had credit card issues in the past. I'm certain my credit card is working now and would ask you to please fix this for me I would really like my account to work again.



P.s. I've sent an email and I have posted in other forms please help me

Is there nothing you can do to allow temporary access to the game? She is a new player and may quit because of this. It would be a shame to lose her since she comes with much enthusiasm and was eager to be an active participant.

In order to protect player privacy and effectively combat cheating in Shadow Cities we are unable to reveal specific details regarding this account closure. We can say that a cheat was used from this account, and because it is your responsibility to preserve your account credentials, you are responsible for everything that occurs from your account.
As a result of the offending action, the account is now permanently closed. Again, we regret having taken such extreme action, but Grey Area takes cheating very seriously as we believe it strongly goes against the spirit of competition and greatly undermines the efforts put forth by those intending to play fair.

Should you have further questions, we encourage you to review the Terms of Service (ToS) agreement. Your continued understanding on this matter is greatly appreciated.

News flash - they won't investigate anything past their above response. They encourage you to read the ToS and dismiss your problem with a possible flaw in their system.

That is atrocious treatment of a paying customer.
I hope that they review there systems before computer generated Account closure(this is the only conclusion I can come to with the info provided by SC) becomes the Straw that breaks SC player's backs and even more people than have left already leave in disgust and SC becomes just annother rung in the corporate ladder for GA.

I dont know the details of your account closure PrincessScarz but everyone should have the right to defend your self or at least know what they have done wrong.

as a newb I am disheartened to have found SC in what looks like the beginning of it's demise.

It boils down to their claim against yours. You can say you didn't cheat all day, when their system restricts access I doubt they even open a single file to investigate. They do, however, look in their folder of reply templates for a response that generally says "read ToS and the forums, you participated in activity that ruins gameplay for the rest of the players but you can make a new account"

They also mention a few times how they refuse to reopen closed accounts and that you are responsible for securing your account credentials and any activity recorded from the account.
