Capture the Flag - Redux!!!

....and this time, it's war
NYBG would like to invite the world's mages to Central Park for another fun event. With our 3rd 2x2 tournament winding down (finals wed night, come watch!) and comicy in need of rest (thanks com for all your 2x2 work, you are incredible) we figured it was time for another event while we figure out how to make 3x3 tournaments doable.
-----20x20 Capture the Flag-----
Rules are very simple
We are having 2 "flag" accounts, same as last time, ArchitectFlag and AnimatorFlag.
We are going to do it "pick-up" style this time, so about an hour before the contest, There will be announcements made in statuses and the like about friending your flag
OJs friend ArchitectFlag, cabbages friend Animator Flag
The flags will accept only 20 friend requests (some random BG people will be able to see the beacon too, but I don't know how to avoid this)
When the flags are full, they will cast beacons on the North and SOuth ends of Central Park in Manhattan.
When all mages have arrived, the flags will alert each other and we will begin setup.
Both sides will have five minutes to set up wards (as many as magely possible), catchers, booby traps and the like
Then it's go time
THERE IS ONLY ONE RULE TO THE WHOLE GAME - NO BEACONS!!!!!!!!!!
that's it, you cannot beacon, the flag beacons are the only beacons allowed, and they will not be refreshed
when flags give signal - FIght - match is over when you destroy the other team's flag (beacon)
If you are banished, you can come back and fight some more
We hope you wanna play and have some fun. Hopefully we will be able to set this up so we can do it regularly pick-up style.
We welcome all feedback and want this to run smoothly but if your feedback is some version of "I think this is stupid" or "This lessens my chance to get a cool medal" please keep it to yourself. "You suck, Mob" comments, however, are most welcome and encouraged. We understand this will come with some chaos, but we will try to make it silky smooth

Pick-up style is brilliant. Can't wait. Also, I still have some sharpened peasant sticks from last time. Are those allowed?

I think we should arrange this in an area that is chalk-full of gateways. I have seen some places with easily fifty visible from cloudview.
Also can we run smaller or larger games? Some people might like the variation...

Great idea, 3397302. The first one will be in the park, but subsequent ones can b anywhere. It'd be fun to have in an area with a lot of gws, or in an area with hardly any.
I'm sure we will try 30x30, and other variations too
