Sponsored Mana no longer gives mana

I'm sure their advertisers are absolutely thrilled about this. And I had just been considering advertising through them as well. Not anymore.

And Seldon, I agree 100% that they were unfair, but I would rather have seen them be extended as an option for all accounts rather than to see them be dismantled. And to make a change like this with no announcement or commentary in the staff channel, and no change to the mana store interface, seems particularly clumsy and half-done.

Agree 100% with you Sekou. There was no announcement(still none), and if they wanted to level the field, they should have given them to ALL accounts.
I love this game, but taking these actions will severely cut down on the time spent playing. And it's been extremely frustrating to deal with all the games glitches that GA doesn't fix... It's funny how they were able to handle this with no problem.
If they did it to increase sales, it's not going to work. I won't buy a damn thing!

I never got them but Worldofuwe does so I've seen the difference playing next to her.
If pots are $0.10 each, she earned $2-3 dollars credit a day.
I get that alot of mages complained. I wasn't for or against but feel they should be universal. The fact that they gave them so generously was ok, but then to take that away is just stupid. People who never had a thing won't miss it gone, but to give it, let them come to depend on it, then take it away is bad. Thanks GA: I'm sure alot of players feel betrayed. Way to please your user base - NOT.
(you should have thought it through)

Yeah, Seku and Slash have a point too.
No announcement displays your contempt for players by either refusing or neglecting to type a simple message.

It was a bug that the ad could grant free mana so often, and has thus been adjusted appropriately to create improved balance between those who receive the ads (newer accounts), and those who don't. We apologize for any confusion or frustration this situation might have caused some of you.
