Until all this gets worked out with the recent unfair account terminations, I'll not be playing. I would encourage all my followers to do the same. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but the folks at Grey Area Labs have broken this camel's back. I could deal with the crashes, glitches, poofing spiders, ads and even alternate farming, but when I see trusted players get their accounts terminated, who all claim innocence, I don't blame the player, I blame the game maker. I have created so many close bonds of friendship in this game. I hope that continues. And I honestly hope that I will be back very soon.

Thank you for your support Leia and A333. It is a sad sad day for me and for so many others. I have been so naive these past months to think that a company would care enough about the community it created as much as it's own profit margin. Still, I hope that I can return and that things will change for the better.

I have banned myself as well. I hope the developers can correct this and GA can effectively communicate to the SC community.

I have already lost much faith, motivation to play and morale to battle with my green mates, causing me to login so much lesser if not shorter duration. n like what snog says, we can bear with many issues but terminating trusted (awesome) players is overboard and banning quite a few of them definitely hit the last line of tolerance. While i'll still login becuz i will miss our dear greens and to seek comfort for my rl probs, i will be logging in really much much lesser than b4... *sighs*

This is what your FAQ is like: "If you don't know what an exploit is but you think you might know, then don't do it, even though we are allowing the exploit to occur because of bugs in our system. But if you do exploit the system, we will terminate your account without warning and not allow you to appeal. But you can start a new account if you'd like."

Khamos, we have all viewed the FAQ. What is most sad is that you all are banning people for what you consider exploitation of in-game bugs that you have allowed to continue and should have fixed long ago. And then there is the double standard of allowing people to create alternate accounts after their main account has been banned, even though that is against your own Terms of Service. So you are providing a way to get back into the game but are permanently banning people's main accounts without warning or appeal. Meanwhile, issues of alternate account abuse continue to be the main problem in-game players deal with. What you are doing feels very much like a totalitarian system, designed to take advantage of people. It is cruel, unsportsmanlike, and shameful.

Chad Jones said this about the recent closures: "We are not closing accounts for minor uses of accidental game bugs or glitches, but rather as the result of intentional execution of major location circumvention, used repeatedly over time by someone who has logged into the account, be it the original account holder or someone who has gained or been allowed access." And yet at least one of those players is refuting that claim. It is your word against theirs, and your word is backed up only by the poor example set up by the FAQ and system of termination that you have set it place. Surely you understand how BAD this makes Grey Area Labs look?
