I've read so many forum posts, I can't recall if this has been brought up before, but has GA considered linking SC to Gamecenter? It would be nice to track total energy earned, number of banishes, and the like.

Yes, we were actually gauging interest in the recent surveys we sent to players several weeks ago. I think you might not have been active during the specific time they were emailed, and if so, yours would have been slightly modified.
In any case, there was some definite interest from the community to utilize Game Center, enough so that it is a consideration for the future, though there seemed clearly to be some higher priority interests, some of which we intend to deliver on moving forward.

Actually, Chad, ya'll were kind enough to email me the surveys (the main one and the inactivity one).
This obviously isn't a main consideration of mine, only something that I was pondering. Thanks for the info.
