I do believe this would be beneficial to Shadow Cities players and a new way to build revenue.

After realizing that after moving in a few weeks, I am going to lose the 5000 pots I have in my Gateway. This will suck incredibly and may make me consider whether I should be playing this game or not.

So I thought of an idea that will help keep people who move, and attract new people, for that person who runs into my 5k gateway might not stick around to build up their buff.

We should have the ability to reset only the pots that are tied to a gateway, and only one. For every 1000 pots that need to be reset it should cost $10, so for me I would have to dish out $50 to reset my pots. It is important to charge so that cheating is difficult to do. If it was free what is to stop me from repotting my pots into Mr Reas realm so he doesn't get a buff? This is why purchasing the repot is important. Or we could also consider 100 pots per 1000 to reset.

I want to propose this to GA so please be critical in a constructive way.

Intriguing idea. I have another alternative that does not involve money: the ability to retrieve potions you've put into a gateway with a 15% potion charge. For example, if you want to take out 5000 potions, you can, but you forfeit 750 of those potions.

This is a great idea and abuse could also be limited by allowing the transaction only once per three months, or something like that. The real risk, I suppose, is for quitting players to grief someone they don't like on their way out of the game.

I posted this EXACT idea in the suggestions and ideas forum two weeks ago. There, I proposed a 40% charge Or something like that.

I think you should only be able to do this on gws owned by your own account, or owned by an inactive player. This would solve the griefing problem.

Great idea, Jphoc, only problem is that it takes money out of GA's hands. The money you'll spend buying your new home GW.
