Baldr's Bonfire

I suggest you make a whole new house just for the rare 'bosses' like the Baldr's Bonfire: there are 4 elemental types used in ancient philosophies, but you only use 3 types as houses for the spirits. I suggest you use the element 'Wind' as the fourth house for those bosses
Why not just have elemental house Bosses? Adding a new house just for bosses would imbalance the houses.

I tried to solo a Bonfire and got it down to 710 HP before I had to retreat. When I returned about a minute later, healed and refueled, it was gone. That made me rather sad.

The words element and house are thrown around WAY too much in here to make sense lol. nyway the four houses have nothing to do with the elements, but yes the wind element is left unused.
Making a new house would be stupid, Baldr's Bonfire is meant to be a powerful FIRE spirit of thr house Tiermes. Specific element and belonging to a specific house. Adding wind elemental spirits would make sense though as it is a tad odd that only three are used. But don't make a new house for bosses, it's like an in-house ranking system.

The HP regen of the Bonfire is very very insidious :-> I've seen it regen over 100 hp in a matter of seconds.

Good point!

Just faced one. I was lucky it was at my spawn point. Banished me 3 times before I got it. Well worth it. Yeah, the XP wasn't huge, but come on, 150 energy? Hard to say "no" to that.
Over all, I'd call it a mini-boss and a welcome addition to the game. I do, however, see there being major frustrations over kill-steals, on this one.

Indeed I missed greatly between house/element :p
but you got the point :p
I would love the forth element though, it's strange that they only used 3 of them! :s

there has been an insane amount of in-game chatter accusing others of kill-stealing on the bonfires. people are seriously getting upset over this. accidental or not, guilty or not, folks are getting blacklisted. personally, i love the bonfires, but i'll only take them on when i'm at a little-used beacon, am completely on my own or with people i know and trust implicitly.
this would not be a big deal if soloing these things didn't take 2-3 mana bottles. it's just not cool to have spent time and mana (possibly purchased with real money) on these things only to have someone else warp in and make the kill shot. players generally don't like to spend money on a game for someone else's benefit.
so, here are some suggestions:
• get a system in place to credit group kills (i.e. percentage of energy is based on percentage of HP dealt against bonfire: if i am responsible for 1500 damage, i get 50% credit.)
• energy is only rewarded if you make both the first and last cast on the bonfire.
• get rid of the things if they're going to cause such trouble.

Seconded. With such a nice reward for the person who gets the last shot, a lot of players are going the cheap route of letting someone else do all the work. It's why I've been hunting them solo. It's just too risky to take one on with witnesses around.
