Please populate the chat-feed for the battlegroup with the latest messages on the top, not the bottom. Also, please give me an option not to put a "!" at the edge of my screen whenever anyone types anything. It's impossible to keep up with a general chat when 10+ people are playing.
A good comparison is a person who's following 300 ppl on twitter. If he was notified each time one of those people sent a tweet, it'd go on forever and thus the importance of the notification would be lost.

Thanks Victor! The notification mark of new chat messages indeed pop ups all the time with active chats going on in the Battlegroups Chats and your friends posting to your Newsfeed & Private messages. We'll look into how to make it more meaningful!

Yes, being able to reverse the list order is a great idea. Some simple filtering options would be useful too - something like the ability to decide which channel you want alerts from, etc.
For instance, last weekend there were a lot of newsfeed threads running in Finnish. I couldn't read those, but I still had to keep checking the chat fly-out to see if the "!" notification meant my local team was talking.
