[Feature Request] Enable beacon list to be sorted

Hi there!
I'm building up quite a large list of friends (well, it's large to me!) and the list of beacons is also getting quite long and is starting to become unwieldy.
I would love for there to be some sort of sorting added to the list - perhaps a set of tabs across the top of the list?
I'd like:
By location name
By distance (from current location)
By time available
By player name
This would offer a huuuuge usability boost.
Cheers,
O

Even just location and player name sorting. I don't know how many times a friend has gone "Help! Come to my beacon!" and I have to scroll through two hundred beacons to find the one with their name beneath it while they fend off a hoard.

I'd also like to an option broken down by region/state/etc. Now that I have so many friends (/cheers) my beacon list is a mile long and it's hard to find some in my area.

A million times yes! This should be made to happen tomorrow! Also to fix cloud view from making you freeze up...

an option in chat that shows if the person has a beacon or not, and the option to warp to it would be nice, obviously for teamchat or friendly PMs only.
for example
Player A: help! my beacon!
you click on player A, it goes to his player stats, and somewhere would be a "warp to player's beacon button" and there would be 2 slots for possible beacons that the player has, and you tap it, and bam you're there.
this way, you can also browse your friend list, and warp to friendly beacons instead of going to crash-vi, I mean cloud-view all the time.

Thanks for the feedback.
I will discuss with the rest of the team about any potential plans to further improve the beacon interface. Continue to post your ideas!

Off-topic for this topic, but have you tried the fix in the FAQs? That greatly helped my own lag/freezing in cloud view and stuff. It's a hassle, but it was worth it for the faster warping.

I'd like to see a list of friend's beacons when I visit their profile... and maybe the most recent beacon they jumped to?

Two suggestions for this idea:
1: The ability to see a friend's beacons when you visit their profile as well as warp to that beacon.
2: The ability to "favorite" beacons to put regularly used beacons on a separate, smaller list.
EDIT: Corbin JUST suggested the first one. My second suggestion still stands.
