I have not really played enough to get in the top ten since the switch but I must say the rewards really dropped dramatically for washington state.

The UK is a big battle group I feel, and for 2400 collected over the first part of the campaign I got 1 mana . C'mon guys that's not enough ! I used around 20 mana in battles and gained around 12 on missions etc. I save my mana for battles and hopefully a few on one side for a pretty badge one day , but that's not going to happen now. This minute reward feels like a 'must buy mana' exercise and even though I've been with SC since virtual launch in UK and I will stay as an ARC , many will leave as this amount of energy netted 10 or 11 mana before and it's too much of a reduction.

for info:
i received 14 pots for being first with 4900 energy harvested, first 16 got points, BG is over 100, other rounds the #1 was rewarded with about 30-45 pots, even with a less big energy harvest..
@dervish i hardly spend any pots ever, thats your choice and pots are often spent in battle, battle gives you less energy opposed to spirit missions.. especially if you find nice spirits, like i did, i came across a koshei spawining place and hunted them for an hour to make up for a 200 energy deficit and turn it into a 100 lead.. (yes i did some other missions while charging and shot some small one hit spirits too)

If they do change its so that the battle groupes are larger they should alow us to view our battle groupes online. So we can see mages that are around us, that way we can get together easier and work as a team towards our missions.

I would like to comment on this change after being back in my home BG for a week now. The past few weeks I have been in Canada, NY and Ky BGs along with my Home BG of Ohio. The difference in pots is pretty extreme even though I personally have gathered close to the same amounts and winning or being in the top few energy earned positions. A great example of this is the 2nd part of the camp we just ended I won with roughly 6500 energy I believe and received a whole 20 pots while a few weeks before that I won a NY session with roughly 7500 energy and received a whopping 199 pots(I assume this is the cap also). I understand there is more competition but energy is energy and just because we are in a smaller BG should not mean we get penalized. We all PvP together and this drastically cuts down on how much I do and the fun I have in game. 20 pots is not worth the time it takes to gather 6k plus energy.

Est you have a great point. In Hawaii its a constant battle with the animators and its just not worth the time to put into the round to collect energy when all we get is 10 pots for first place. At least you get 20.

Est, the pot rewards changed in the big bgs during your transition, I used to get 199, now its like 65. Which kinda sucks when competiting against such a huge amount of people.
